12 y.o. male, having generalized seizures with focal onset (some strange feeling, vertigo for few seconds) which started at age 10.
AED were not effective, seizure control for 6-10 weeks, than seizures occurring often in clusters.
Interictal EEG revealed occasional high amplitude spiking within right fronto-central region.
MRI showed typical picture of FCD (possibly Taylor type) within right frontal lobe.
Operation - Nov 2006 - broad resection of right frontal lobe
