Digital Data Viewer
ddv   (digital data viewer) is an Open Source program (compiled for Win 95/98) for an interactive offline display of multichannel digital data, optimized for sleep EEG recordings:
  • marking transient signal's structures (their positions are written in a binary "*.tag" file)
  • display of online filtered signals, spectrum of chosen epoch, zoom
  • change of scaling and reference (montage)
  • reading several EEG formats
ddv was designed by P.J. Durka and written by Wojciech Maleński and Dobiesław Ircha in/for a cooperation with the Warsaw Medical Academy, Ist Dept. of Psychiatry. Authors grant a nonexclusive license to use this software and documentation for education and research. No part of the software or documentation can be included in any commercial product without prior obtaining a written permission of one of the authors.
Complete source code licensed under the terms of GNU General Public License is available here.

Data formats that may work with ddv:

  • Pegasus
  • Bio-logic
  • Medelec (12-bit)
  • Easys
  • raw binary 2-byte multiplexed integers
  • raw binary 2-byte multiplexed floats
  • ASCII
There is no warranty that this program shall read your particular data format, even if it comes from one of the mentioned above machines. Brand names appearing here are probably trade marks of resp. companies.

Note for those interested in the source code: It was compiled using Borland Delphi 1.0 and probably does not compile easily in the later dialects of Delphi :(
