DTF is robust in respect to noise


The signal from channel 1 is transmited to channel 2, channel 3 is totally independent. The variance of the noise in channel 2 is 9 times bigger than the variance of the signal in channel 1 (click here to see the signal 1 and 2).
Simulation scheme
X(1,t)=EEG1+0.5*e1(t)
X(2,t)=0.75*X(1,t-1)+3*e2(t)
X(3,t)=EEG2+0.5*e3(t)

Only 1=>2 transmission was found (marked by an arrow) in spite of very strong noise component.
