EEG activity propagation after finger movement
sdtf small

The picture below shows a matrix of EEG propagation between data channels during repeated finger movement experiment [4]. In each small box the intensity of propagation measured by SDTF is reflected in the color scale (minimum=blue, maximum=red). On horizontal scale of each graph - time in seconds (movement at t=0), on vertical sacle - frequency in Hz. The propagation in each cell is from the electrode shown above the column to the electrode marked on the left of the row. Graphs on the main diagonal show power autospectra. Note the gap in the propagation around time zero, especially for outflows from electrode C3 (4th column in the picture), and increase in beta band after movement (for instance C3->Fc3).
SDTF t-f maps

To make the transmissions in beta band better visible, the SDTFs were integrated in the beta frequency range. The time courses of selected transmissions are now shown as typical graphs. The increase of transmission is observed around 1 sec after the movement.
